1. Introduction

These Terms govern your use of ShareYourPack (the "Platform"), operated by [FULL LEGAL NAME], sole trader, [TRADING ADDRESS], [TAX/VAT NUMBER], contact shareyourpack@gmail.com. By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. What ShareYourPack is — and is not

ShareYourPack is a marketplace that connects people who want to rent camping equipment ("Renters") with people who own camping equipment and wish to lend it ("Providers").

We are an intermediary only. The rental agreement is between the Renter and the Provider directly. ShareYourPack is not a party to that agreement, does not own the equipment, and does not rent equipment itself. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or condition of any equipment listed, nor for the conduct of any user. Each user is responsible for their own compliance with applicable law.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract to use the Platform.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. For Providers

• You must accurately describe your equipment, including its condition, contents, and any defects.
• You must ensure equipment is clean, functional, and safe before handover.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to lend the equipment.
• You set your own prices and availability.
• You understand that you, not ShareYourPack, are responsible for your tax obligations on income earned.

6. For Renters

• You must use rented equipment responsibly and return it in the condition you received it, accounting for reasonable wear.
• You are responsible for loss or damage beyond reasonable wear, as set out in the deposit and damage terms below.
• You must return equipment on time and as agreed with the Provider.

7. Bookings, payments, and fees

• ShareYourPack may charge a service fee, shown before booking is confirmed.
• Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider; their terms also apply.

8. Security deposits

• A refundable security deposit may be required per rental, held to cover damage, loss, or late return.
• The deposit is released to the Renter after the Provider confirms the equipment was returned in agreed condition.
• Disputes over deposits are handled under the dispute process in Section 11.

9. Damage, loss, and liability

• Renters are liable for damage beyond reasonable wear, and for loss or theft, of rented equipment.
• ShareYourPack does not provide insurance unless and until an explicit damage-protection program is launched and described in writing. Do not state or imply that rentals are insured until such a program genuinely exists.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShareYourPack's liability to any user is limited, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, personal injury arising from equipment use, or the acts of other users. [Lawyer to set enforceable limits consistent with Greek/EU consumer law.]

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, misrepresent equipment, harass other users, circumvent the Platform to avoid fees, or post false reviews.

11. Disputes between users

• Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly.
• ShareYourPack may, at its discretion, help mediate using available records (such as condition photos), but is not obligated to and is not the final arbiter of legal rights.
• Nothing here removes a consumer's statutory rights under Greek/EU law.

12. Reviews and content

Users may post reviews and content. You are responsible for what you post; it must be honest, lawful, and not infringe others' rights. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

The ShareYourPack name, logo, site design, and content are owned by us and may not be used without permission. User-posted content remains the user's, but you grant us a licence to display it on the Platform.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Material changes will be notified.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Greek law, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of [CITY], Greece, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
